There is the stress factor, to be sure. The average person gets “hit” with about 55 stressors on any given day. If you have a very stressful job or home life, the number would be even higher. If we don’t learn how to “de-stress” ourselves, long-term stress can lead to serious health issues, such as insulin resistance, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease.  Chronic stress promotes fat deposits, increases the risk of tumors and infections, stimulates cravings for sweets, and decreases the brain’s ability to use glucose. Stress increases your heart rate and blood pressure and can lead to stroke. According to the American Institute of Stress, over 90% of all health problems are related to stress!

The Impact Factors

Even thinking negative thoughts can stress your body. We will examine how your individual thought patterns might be stressing you and show you new techniques that have been scientifically proven to re-hardwire the brain. We will begin the process of retraining your brain to come from a more positive outlook, thereby making every thought flow through a brain that is hardwired for positivity rather than negativity.

Food issues come into focus for many. What we fuel our body with really does matter. This is affected by where we live and the choices we make in the types of food we choose. Do we go organic, or not? What is the difference here, and how much does it really matter? What environmental impact do our food choices have anyway?

Also playing a major role in life is the emotional factor. It sometimes feels as if everything is ruled by the emotions that we strive so diligently to suppress. But in reality, how long can we successfully get away with that? And if we do it for an extended period of time, what happens to us? Feelings buried alive never die- they just start roaming around in your body looking for expression. This often comes out as pain or illness.
